Environment Agency Replacement lighting throughout offices Waterside House, Lincoln

The Gelder Group were entrusted with the replacement lighting throughout  the Lincoln Headquarters of the Environment Agency.

The project included the rewiring to the new light fittings, all attendance and reinstatement works, provision of light sensors and movement sensors to ensure that the system is environmentally beneficial.

All works were completed out-of-normal working hours.

The challenges associated with the project were:-

  • Continuity of services for the smooth operation of the Environment Agency office personnel.
  • Coordination of the new installation with the existing systems.
  • Tight time constraints related to the completion of the various trades whilst always keeping Health & Safety as the most critical priority

Emma Bristow from the Environment Agency commented that 'she was extremely happy with the finished product, the efficient manner the contract was carried out and the minimal disruption to the normal activities of the office'.
