The Gelder Group were entrusted by Vic Fearn and Company to reinstate the structure of the factory following extensive fire damage.
The damaged timber side elevation was removed, new foundations, steel frame and prefinished wall cladding were provided.
A temporary and new steel profiled roof was constructed.
All of the above works were completed through the winter with the factory in full production.
Cooperation by all stakeholders was a crucial factor for the success of the project.
