Apprenticeship Development Manager Adam Ellwood begins teaching Lincoln Christ Hospital School Year 9s

Apprenticeship Development Manager Adam Ellwood has begun teaching his self-created ‘Preparation for Work Readiness’ training course at Lincoln Christ’s Hospital School who booked all 225 year 9 students to be taught. This chargeable course was created due to the lack of high quality application forms and CV’s that the Gelder Group received last year. The idea of the course is to inform school children what the Gelder Group looks for when recruiting. The course covers CV’s, covering letters, applications forms, social media and the interview process.

Adam Ellwood comments  “Following on from interviewing over 100 young adults last year it was clear to see that the majority do not understand the basic format of writing a CV or how to interview correctly, by creating this course and giving truthful feedback hopefully we can get more young adults into work after school and reduce youth unemployment.”

Alison Foley, LCHS Work Related Learning Coordinator comments “Adam is very well organised and has been extremely well received by our students.  He has a friendly positive nature and motivates our students very well”
