To completely strip down to the steel chassis an existing mobile classroom, and then rebuild bringing the building up to current building standards. The Mobile was becoming a real eyesore at the college and was rarely used by the students and staff. All the work had to be completed within a 6 week time frame while the college remained open.
To remove all internal and external wallboards which contain asbestos, then to fully refurbish the building complete with new windows, doors, heating, floor coverings, 2 new toilets and one disabled toilet complete with a baby change facility, open plan kitchen, new store room, new entrance lobby area complete new fire and burglar alarms.
The building now has become a light airy multipurpose space that can used for various activities the college carries out.
