The Gelder Group were entrusted with extending the classroom/teaching space for Dunston St Peter's (CofE) County Primary School.
The increased level of pupils required the classroom to be completed prior to the new school year commencing in September.
The time limits and value for money requirements confirmed that the provision of the demountable building was the most suitable option.
The scheme included the carefully designed access for the disabled.
Headmaster Graham Boyall commented:
