New Teaching Block Bourne Grammar School

Construction of a two storey teaching block with a gross floor area of 1300m² to provide 10 classrooms.
The contract involved extending the existing classroom block. Careful consideraton and planning were required to ensure safe access to the site which was at the rear of the school and through the school playground. Out of hours work was required for the mechanical and electrical connections and forming new access from existing building to the new.
The contract was sucessfully completed on time and within budget.
Works were carried out within operation facilities, therefore careful planning and liaison with the client was necessary in order to minimise disruption and ensure the highest standards of safety.
