On Joe?s last day colleagues gathered in the main car park and clapped him in as he parked his van up for the last time. About 70 staff then went to The Plough Pub in the village where Joe was presented with several retirement gifts, signed cards and a framed photograph (see above) of himself taken during his last week at work.
Joe Retires
After 14 years of first class service on 16th September 2005 Joe Swannack retired. Joe, a bricklayer by trade, has spent the last 12 years working for the Insurance Repair and Renovation Division of the Company and will be greatly missed by all his colleagues.On Joe?s last day colleagues gathered in the main car park and clapped him in as he parked his van up for the last time.
