Work Progresses at Nuffield Hospital, Lincoln

Work is progressing well on the new extension and alteration work at Nuffield Hospital, Lincoln.

The contract involves alteration and refurbishment to the existing theatres, kitchen and stores, and the forming of a new lift together with the conversion of the existing reception into meeting rooms.

 

The new extension will comprise of a new entrance area, reception, interview rooms, a staff dining area and a general waste store.

 

The ?1 million contract is due for completion in September 2007 and will involve bringing a temporary mobile operating theatre on to site whilst some of the phased work is being carried out.

 

Site managers Pete Hooker and Lloyd Piper stated that working closely with our clients on a daily basis was ensuring that the works being carried out in the best possible way to reduce any inconvenience, both to hospital staff and patients.
