Great Yorkshire Run
Karen Eves, Insurance Co-ordinator at the Group?s North Midlands Office recently took part in the Great Yorkshire Run. The 10K run was covered by Channel 5 and Hallam FM. Karen raised ?200 towards the Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Karen commented ?It felt exhilarating to run my first marathon not only a great personal achievement and the start of my training for a full marathon next year but I also managed to raise approximately ?200 for Marie Curie Cancer Care. I would like to thank my family friends and colleagues for their support - a special thanks to Sophie, a 5 year old West Highland Terrier with whom I trained with?.
