Group Complete's Structural Solutions in Minster Yard

The Gelder Group?s Structural Solutions Division has just completed a stabilisation project to one of Lincoln?s oldest buildings.  Masonry integrity was restored to the front elevation of 8 Eastgate, a building which dates back several hundred years and stands opposite the Minster Yard of Lincoln Cathedral.

Helifix helical beaming was introduced to the front elevation of the property at ground, first floor and eaves levels to arrest the structural movement occurring around the bay windows.  The scheme was designed by Ward & Cole Structural Engineers and installed by the Gelder Group in a joint project with Lincoln Cathedral?s Works Department, which is in the process of restoring the building.
