RSS FeedGelder Group First Annual Apprentice of the Year Awards Ceremony 2008
On Thursday 20th May 2008 the Gelder Group were pleased to hold their first annual Apprentice of the Year Awards Ceremony.
Bodie Jefferson (newly qualified joiner) and Scott Gregory (plumbing apprentice) were selected to receive the Gelder Apprentice of the Year Award 2008.
Both apprentices were chosen to receive the award due to outstanding achievements throughout their training.

Each apprentice received an engraved glass tankard from the group along with their names added to the apprentice of the year awards shield, a ?200 voucher from sponsors Speedy Tool Hire, and a ?200 voucher from sponsors Jackson Building Centres, along with a ?25 voucher from
Mike Johnson, Training Manager commented ?Bringing young blood into the construction industry is a must and we aim to take on between 6 and 8 apprentices each year. We are very proud to be able to recognise the achievements of our apprentices and look forward to developing our Apprenticeship Awards and develop on the success of our first awards ceremony.?
