Works Complete at Nuffield Hospital

On Friday 27th June 2008, the final phases of works to the Nuffield Hospital, Lincoln were completed.

The ?1.4 million contract has taken 18 months to complete and throughout required close daily liaison with the hospital staff in an effort to minimize any inconvenience & disruption to the hospital.

The phased work included a new single storey extension to form a new main entrance / reception & office, staff changing areas and the installation of a new lift. This was followed by the refurbishment of the existing operating theatres, the installation of waste storage areas & resurfacing of the car park area.

The staff at the hospital were so pleased with the works carried out and the management of the project by Site Manager Lloyd Piper that they threw him a leaving party.  Over 60 of the hospital staff presented Lloyd with cards and presents along with a cake in the shape of a hard hat.

Andrew Davey (Executive Director or BMI Lincoln) commented to Lloyd ?The success of the scheme is down to Lloyd, well done.  Thanks for everything and all the best for the future?
