Group Managing Director, Steve Gelder, recently became a minor celebrity when he was BBC Radio Lincolnshire’s breakfast show guest.
Steve was invited to join the team on the popular show, hosted by William Wright, following a radio interview he had recently given about the work the Group’s Training Academy is doing with some youths from the Gainsborough area.
William posed Steve a number of questions on a range of issues including the current economic conditions for business, outlook for the economy, his work with the youths from Gainsborough and what had originally inspired him to set up in business.
Commenting after the event, Steve said “he was surprised at just how much is going on at once in a radio studio, weather girls, news readers are popping in and out and roving reporters are talking to the DJ, etc all the time, it’s not always easy to concentrate”. Adding “after the show a few people popped in to congratulate me and a few nice emails showed up on the system during the show, so I think I must have got away with not offending anyone which was my biggest worry”.
