Divisional Manager of Halifax General Insurance, now part of the Lloyds Banking Group, Martin Bellamy and his team have decided to “adopt a charity” and give up some of their time to a worthy cause.
The chosen charity is “The Sick Children’s Trust” a most noteworthy organisation which is not state funded and relies totally on donations.
On the 7th and 8th July 2010, Martin will lead his team at both painting premises in Sheffield and Newcastle before cooking a meal for the families.
The Gelder Group are closely associated with the Lloyds Banking Group whose corporate team provide the companies banking services and the companies Insurance Repair and Renovation division completes around 500 insurance claims per year for Lloyds / HBOS General Insurance, so we’re very happy to step in and provide materials such as paint and paint brushes for use in July.
Commenting on the Donation, Gelder Groups, Regional Manager, Mick Millership said “Martin and I have worked together for many years both whilst he was employed by his previous company and again during his time at both HBOS and Lloyds so I was very pleased to get involved and help out”.
