Children Still Have Fun Despite Football Being Cancelled

For the 5th year running the Gelder Group sponsored a Lincoln City football match.   Over 100 staff, partners and customers of the Gelder Group attended this years Lincoln City V Darlington FC match on 14th February 2009.

Included in the party were 57 children, 21 (pictured) whom received coaching from Lincoln City football in the community staff and a tour of the stadium prior to the game.
The game was unfortunately called off, even though it was a lovely sunny day, with temperatures hitting 9?C, the referee called the game off 1 hour 15 minutes before kick off due to a section of the pitch being frozen. The Gelder Group's 131 guests, children and staff were left very disappointed but still enjoyed the facilities whilst the children were entertained by the clubs coaches.
