RSS Feed£1m Contract for St Barnabas Hospice Secured
Gelder Group have been awarded a £1m, 32 week contract to part refurbish and upgrade St Barnabas’s Hospice located on Barrowby Road, Grantham.
Works to the Franklin Ellis Architects designed structure will commence in August 2010 and be managed by Gavin Parker (Contracts Manager) and Alan Smith (Site Manager).
Major Contracts Director, Kevin Manterfield (pictured) commented that “they were absolutely delighted to have been awarded their contract”, commenting that “the Gelder Group have a long association with the St Barnabas Hospice having constructed them hospices in both Gainsborough and Lincoln in the past”.
A spokesperson for the client commented that “competition for this contract was fierce, but ultimately the enthusiasm and professionalism of the Gelder Group bid, along with the hospices past relationship saw them come through as the preferred bidder”.
