The Gelder Groups forward order book has been boosted by 17 orders totalling ?4 million during the past 6 weeks. This is the first time in 5 months that new orders have outstripped sales.

The Groups Major Contracts Director Kevin Manterfield-Ivory (pictured) commented ?our forward order book has slowly decreased over the last couple of months; fortunately it was at record levels in January so we?ve kept busy. Hopefully the security of these new orders will see us maintain or even increase year on year sales? The Gelder Groups major contracts division has annual sales of approximately ?18 million, ?1.5 million per month. These new orders therefore represent approximately 2 ? months sales. The division?s forward order book now stands at 12 million. |
