Group Awarded Investors in People (IIP) Status

'Peoples belief in (Gelder Group's) overall fairness and equality of opportunity is absolute' was just one of the comments that were contained in David Melton's IIP report on the Gelder Group.

David Melton (IIP Assessor) spent three days at the group's various offices and soon confirmed that the group had exceeded all the standards required.

Following his assessment Mr Melton recommended that the group is assessed for an IIP Gold Standard, an accolade held by less than 100 UK companies.

Managing Director, Steve Gelder commented 'Whilst many organisations have the Investors in People Status, and therefore the basis award does not differentiate between what we do and other organisations, I was very pleased for us  to be recommended for an 'Investors in People Gold Standard' Award.  Receiving this award would certainly distinguish us as being different to other employers.  Few companies even get recommended so we will do everything in our power to secure this status.'
