RSS FeedGelder Group...........still the only Builder to achieve IIP Gold and Champion Status
One year on from being awarded Investors in People (IIP) Gold and then Champion status, Gelder Group remain the only building company to achieve this standard – “not the best advert for our industry” comments Managing Director Steve Gelder.
After having been only the 5thcompany ever to achieve Gold and then Champion IIP status, there have been another 80 UK companies that have stepped up to the mark and received the coveted recognition, yet Gelder Group remain the only Builder to hold the Gold Status.
Commenting on the standard, Group Training Manager, Mike Johnson (pictured) said – “Many companies have IIP recognition but few have stepped up to the mark and raised the bar, there are now four levels of IIP – bronze, silver, gold and IIP champions which is only open to companies that achieve the gold status. The award is all about staff development and continued improvement, something that is clearly engrained in everyone at the Gelder Group”.
