Insurance Team Enjoy Champagne & Strawberries at Westminster with Sir Peter Tapsell MP

On the 8th July the Gelder Group?s Insurance Repair & Renovation Managers, along with several customers, were treated to champagne & strawberries on the House of Commons terrace by Sir Peter Tapsell MP.

The Groups Insurance Repair & Renovation Team first met Sir Peter Tapsell in 2008, when instructed by his insurers to carry out remedial works at his home address, following the UK?s largest earthquake of 30 years. The works involved repairs & renovation to 28 rooms of his 200 year old hall.  During the works the company developed a close relationship with Sir Peter.

Sir Peter commented to his insurers that he was ?highly delighted & completely satisfied with the work completed by the Gelder Group on his property?

Managing Director Steve Gelder commented ?Sir Peter has been very complimentary about the Gelder Group and the service he has received and kindly invited me to visit him for lunch next time I was in London. As we were hosting a table at the British Insurance Awards on 8th July I asked him if he could accommodate 10 of us, I know it wasn?t easy for him but he obliged and has given our customers and senior managers an experience they will remember for the rest of their lives, he is a very kind man and a wonderful character?
