Work Starts on New ?250,000 Head Office One Way System

On Monday 13th July, work commenced on a new ?250,000 one way traffic system at the Groups Tillbridge Lane, Head Office complex.

The new roadway will take approximately 10 weeks to complete and will create a much safer entrance and exit routes from / to the busy A1500 as well as creating extra car parking spaces. It will also provide much easier access to the Groups ?250k 14 acre award winning environmental reserve.

The Gelder Group?s Design and Build Manager, Matthew Salton who is overseeing the project commented ?the new roadway has taken around 2 years to negotiate with local planners & highways agencies? adding ?it represents a huge investment for the Group at a time when many organisations have cut back their capital budgets. Gelder Groups focus however has always been on long term growth and this is another example of that.  This new roadway will bring with it huge long term benefits.?
