Rugby legends Jerry Guscott and Jason Leonard attend Gelder Groups Annual Golf Day

For the second year running Gelder Groups Annual Golf day was blessed with glorious weather as 72 competitors battled it out at the Lincoln Golf Clubs picturesque Torksey course, alongside Rugby legends Jerry Guscott and Jason Leonard for the 18 individual and team prizes.

Gelder Groups main Board of Directors were supported on the 10th tee by their wives Wendy Gelder, Alison Gladwin and Fiona Cunliffe who provided all competitors with much needed refreshments.  North Midlands Regional Manager, Mick Millership, took on the mantle of official starter and with microphone in hand did a sterling job.

The day?s sports was concluded with an evening meal and prize giving by Jerry Guscott and Jason Leonard.

All individual and team prize winners are detailed below.  Overall winner of the individual prize was Andy Procter of Natwest, playing off a handicap of just 6.  Andy Hill took the Gelder trophy as the best performing Gelder employee playing off a handicap of 14 and the winning team consisted of Andy Hill (Gelder Group), Mike Wilcox (Merlin) and Dave Thompson (Trent Valley Academy).
