Gelder New Homes Secures Top Prize at Award Ceremony
Gelder Group?s New Homes division has scooped West Lindsey District Council's Local Authority Building Control Award for the ?Best Individual Dwelling? at the authorities ?Building Excellence Awards 2009?. The group was also highly commended in the ?Best Community Project? category for its work on Acacia Hall, Friesthorpe.
Gelder Group?s New Homes Sales Manager, Barbara Heaton commented that ?this award was received for the quality of build on Plot 4, Woodland Chase, Gainsborough, a development of just five properties. It?s a very pleasing award to win as it?s the Local Authority Building Control Officers who do the judging?. Adding ?if the Chief Building Control Officer says you?ve constructed the best new home in the district, you really have?.
The awards recognise excellence in construction within the district and the judging criteria includes:-

The WLDC LACD awards first commenced in 2000 and Gelder Group have been amongst the finalists every year they have been held, securing 15 winnings and highly commended certificates in the process.
