First External Gelder Group Training Academy Training Day

On Wednesday 7 October 2009, the Gelder Training Academy opened its doors to the public for the first time as a fully operational Training Centre.

The first course to be delivered was a PASMA scaffolding course and was fully subscribed by a number of local companies including AS Vent, Lincolnshire Architectural Glazing, James Purle Joinery and Elkington Carlton.  The course proved to be a very enjoyable and successful days training with a 100% pass rate.

The Training Team were pleased to receive feedback from those attending with comments such as ?The Trainer was very informal which I believe put us all at ease? and ?very informative and excellent training standards?.

Caroline Bevis, Group Training Administrator commented ?it is good to receive feedback from the attendees so that we may continue to offer a high standard of training?.
