Centre of Renewable Energy Open Day
On 17th September the Centre of Renewable Energy (CORE) at East Drayton was officially opened by Patrick Mercer OBE MP. The Gelder Group completed the 32 weeks, ?850,000.00 Design & Build project in April 2009.
?CORE? is a Centre of Renewable Energy Technologies with the latest Green Innovation.
Guests were invited to a tour of the innovative new building and the opportunity to listen to different speakers explain each of the renewable technologies incorporated into the building. This was followed by a look at the Koofuel energy crops, which deliver renewable fuel and carbon sequestration.
The day?s events also included networking activities where companies involved with the project were invited to showcase their products and services.
