Major Contracts Welcomes New Additions to Division

With a forward order book now of ?19m the Major Contracts Department have recruited the following new staff:-

Matt Hodgkins ? Contracts Manager

Matt has 13 years of contracts management experience with the Rand Group and Taylor Woodrow and will be a valuable addition to our contract department.

John Lynes ? Quantity Surveyor

John joins the Major Contracts Division from Simons Construction where he was Commercial Manager for the last 20 years. John brings a wealth of design and build experience to our Quantity Surveying department.

Ian Pickwell ? Site Manager

Ian joins our Social Housing Department as a site manager and will be responsible for the build on our new sites at Ashby Road Scunthorpe and Nettleham Road Lincoln. Ian has over 35 years experience in housing and is a winner of numerous quality awards on a number of local housing projects.

Nigel Parker ? Site Manager

Nigel joins us from the Rand Group where he carried numerous projects including leisure centres?, listed buildings, schools and MOD buildings over the last 9 years.

Jean Daly ? Health & Safety Co-ordinator

Jean joins us from the Rand Group where she has been involved in Health & Safety for over 5 years.

Kevin Manterfield welcomed all the new staff to the Major Contracts Division and added that the new employees would strengthen and support the excellent existing team we had. Our forward order book now topped ?19m which is excellent in today?s market.

Gavin Parker has been appointed Senior Contracts Manager within the Major Contracts Division. Gavin has worked for the division for 6 years and is involved in contracts managing some of our larger projects including the ?6m Birchwood shopping centre in Lincoln.
