RSS FeedGroup Virtual School Now Open
The Groups‘Virtual School’ was officially opened on the 18th January 2012 by David Way, Executive Director / Chief Operating Officer for the National Apprenticeship Service (pictured 3rd from right).
This new investment is the start of a revolutionary training programme for Gelder Training where children from the surrounding area who are not in mainstream education will attend the virtual school to complete their studies whilst benefiting from employer engagement activities such as work experience. Preparing the youngsters for an Apprenticeship and the world of work is a key part to the personal development learning programme for the school. Apprenticeship Development Manager Adam Ellwood comments, “This is an exciting new project for the Gelder Group, we are proud to help the children with their future education in an environment which suits them best.”
