Adam Ellwood and Louisa Sharpe were personally invited down to the Congress Centre in London on Monday 12thMarch 2012 to give a formal presentation on Workbase learning and the importance of staff engagement within Gelder Group in connection with Union learn.
The key note speaker wasRtHon David Miliband MP who was kind enough to listen to our developments with the Gelder Virtual School, in addition with the continuing problem of young adults who are NEETS (not in Education, Employment, or training.) Mr Miliband was highly enthusiastic about the wonderful work the Gelder Group is doing to help this situation. Apprenticeship Development Manager Adam Ellwood comments, “To listen to David Miliband speak about the long term youth unemployment and education problems has only supported the outstanding work we have been doing for the past 12months.”
