The Gelder Groups Major Contract’s Division has completed an 18 month re-structuring programme with the promotion of two long standing but ambitious employees of the company.
Iain Cameron steps up to “Head of Estimating” within the Group’s Major Contracts Division. Iain has worked for the company for 20 years and heads an enthusiastic team responsible for tendering contracts ranging from £150k-£10m in value. The department has seen an upswing in enquiries since the turn of the year and during the period ending 30thApril has already secured some £12m of new orders.
Robert 34, who has a degree in quantity surveying and has worked at the Group for some 18 years in which time has managed many of the Group’s most prestigious projects, has taken on the role of “Senior Quantity Surveyor”.
Both Robert and Iain will join the Groups’ Major Contract Director, Kevin Manterfield in the formation of a new Major Contracts senior management team that will report directly to the Gelder Group’s main board.
