Gelder Group wins prestigious Lincolnshire Environmental Award 2012

On Wednesday 4thJuly 2012 the Gelder Group were crowned the winner of the highly recognised Lincolnshire Environmental Award 2012. Winning this award has been a long process which included a rigorous entry form, and a scored judge’s visit which took place in May.  After successfully been named finalists an assessment afternoon took place at the Bentley Hotel in Lincoln.

The team was lead by Adam Ellwood alongside Rob Cavill and Jason Fountain who delivered a presentation and question session in front of Environmentalist Professor David Bellamy, a panel of judges and fellow contestants. Apprenticeship Development Manager Adam Ellwood comments ‘This is a fantastic achievement and one that we are extremely proud of; we will continue to invest in our environmental projects and work with schools and disadvantaged young adults’ Along with winning the overall award the Gelder Group also won ‘Best Business 2012’ for its effort in reducing waste in both materials and C02 with Greentech and the locality or Redline.
