UK's first Eco-friendly Almshouses
Gelder Major Contracts carried out a Turf Cutting Ceremony to mark the start of their construction work in Newark. The 12 unit, sustainable housing development being built for Newark Charity, St Leonard’s Hospital Trust will feature green sedum roofs, solar panels and further energy saving materials.
The site is based on the former Mount School, off Mount Lane in Newark.
