RSS FeedGelder Group wins prestigious Green Apple Award 2012 at House of Commons
On Monday 12th November 2012 the Gelder Group was crowned Gold winners of the National Green Apple Environment Awards in the Building & Construction category. The presentation which was held at The House of Commons in Westminster was attended by Training Manager Mike Johnson and Greentech General Manager Jason Fountain. The Groups Application was scored highly on our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint whilst increasing our bio-diversity through a number of schemes such as our Worm Farm, Lake and Bug Hotel’ along with our overall pledge to reduce waste such as water and electricity.
Jason Fountain comments ‘I am extremely proud that Greentech and the Group have been recognised for our endeavours regarding the recycling and environmental work we do, this will only spur us on in the future of the green agenda.’
