Site manager Leif Davy has completed a £1.9m Design & Build contract that has delivered seventeen properties on Bottesford Road, Ashby to Longhurst & Havelock Homes four weeks ahead of schedule.
The scheme, a combination of homes & bungalows constructed to level three of the code for sustainable homes wasn’t due to be handed over until November 2010 but completion was reached & the properties handed over on Tuesday 5th October.
A delighted Gelder Group housing manager, Rob Porter, commented that ‘”Leif’s professionalism, hard work & dedication saw the project handed over four weeks ahead of schedule which lead to a happy client and meant the residents could take occupation of their new properties earlier than planned.
Gelder Group are a “Blue Skies Consortium” supplier enabling it to deliver schemes throughout the East Midlands procured by the consortium that is made up of a conglomerate of housing associations.
