RSS FeedGelder Group developing on the High Street
Gelder Group has been awarded their first project on HIGH STREET, Lincoln. The £1,000,000 project, located on the pedestrianised area of Lincoln High Street. The works commenced in September 2012 with internal Archaeological Investigations. The contract is due to be completed by October 2013 for the tenants fit out. The works include the demolition of former Sundance and Next Retail Unit which will allow for the construction of New Retail Unit providing 1180m2 floor area. The New Retail unit will be a 3 storey steel frame building, with concrete floors, architectural stone and blockwork façade with aluminium coated windows.
The works will require a high level of coordination with the Professional Team, Designers, the existing Retailers, Local Authority Highways, Subcontractors and Suppliers, but Gelder Group are certainly looking forward to the challenge.
