“During the last three years there has been a recession, and a massive downturn in construction activity, but the Gelder Group has grown from just over 200 employees to now in excess of 350 across the Midlands. Within the Group staff development continues at a fast pace, morale continues to be high and turnover has doubled”.
These are just a few comments in the David Melton’s detailed Invertors in People Report. David Melton IIP Assessor spent six days at the groups various offices and interviewed 85 employees during his visit in late October. He concluded that once again the Gelder Group was at the highest standard and re-awarded the company IIP Gold status. Mr Melton said “am delighted that this great organisation has retained GOLD standard and continues to be an IIP Champion”.
Steve Gelder commented “Receiving the Gold Award again is a great achievement and it reinforces the fantastic team spirit that exists in the Gelder Group, an organisation that I feel very proud to head”.
