Gelder Group Apprentices made an impact at Rolls Royce
The National Apprenticeship Service held an event at Rolls Royce’s flagship Training and Development Centre in Derby on Tuesday 12th March 2013. This networking event was aimed at getting the views of East Midlands Employers and Apprentices about how apprenticeships can bring value to businesses and the wider regional economy. Taking centre stage was Mike Johnson MBE Group Training Manager and 3 Gelder Group Apprentices who all presented to a mixed employer audience “The Apprenticeship Journey- at the Gelder Group”.
Tracey Theo from the National Apprenticeship Service commented “I would like to thank the Gelder Group for coming and presenting, in particular a big thank you to Jordan Button, Gemma Doel and Jordan Wain, they were phenomenal”, adding “ Everyone I spoke to after the event was blown away by how articulate and motivated they were. The Gelder Group must be really proud of them; they made the event come alive”.
