Success for Lincolnshire's first Construction Network
Over 80 businesses attended the Lincolnshire Chamber’s first Construction Network; bringing a range of companies together from sole traders to large housing organisations to talk business.
Talking about the event, Chris Brown from the Lincolnshire Chamber, said: “It’s been the Chamber’s goal to set up and host a dedicated construction network, and I am delighted that the first one has been a success. There is already demand for the next one which is due to take place on the Tuesday 16th April".
Zoe Summerfield, Chair of the construction network from the Gelder Group, added: “There was a real buzz of conversation in the room with every delegate talking about their business. In fact, several people told me afterwards that they had caught up with old suppliers, and taken away several new enquiries with them.
“But the most beneficial part of the event was the presentation by Scape, because it really highlighted the public sector build opportunities that our county construction businesses – of all sizes - can get involved in”.
The next Construction Network will take place on Tuesday 16 April 2012, Lincoln City Football Club.
