Gelder Group Apprentice Plasterer competes in Skill Builds Regional Heat
Apprentice Plasterer Stephen Farrington has twice competed in the CITB Skill Build. Last year Stephen won 2nd place but this year Stephen finished with an overall score of 82/100 which has given him the opportunity to compete in the national competition in November with the chance to go on and compete at the 2015 WorldSkills competition in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.
Stephen is currently studying Level 3 in Plastering at Grantham College as part of his Apprenticeship. Group Training Manager Mike Johnson MBE commented “Stephen has done brilliantly to come first place in the regional heats is a great achievement which follows on from his success as winner of the Gelder Groups Apprentice of the Year. We now wish Stephen all the luck in the National competition in November, Good Luck and Well Done!!”
