Gelder Students make impact at Redline
Students from the Gelder Virtual School enjoyed an introductory day at Redline. The day involved a tour of the site at Aisthorpe and a look into how the computer system for purchasing and sale of materials along with the hiring of tools/plant. The students were able to interact with the Redline systems and navigate through the Redline Website.
As part of the day the students designed a layout for the Redline Showroom which generated some very innovative ideas. The students also worked alongside the Redline staff observing counter sales with the general public and the purchasing side of the business.
Dave Stainton the Redline Manager commented that “the day proved to be a huge success which I feel was beneficial for the students and the Redline staff”, adding “The students put forward some excellent ideas which we will be looking into implementing in the future. Special thanks must go to the Students, the Tutors and all the Redline Staff, in particular James Pickering who mentored on the day ensuring the day was both enjoyable and interesting”
