Gelder Group secure four year "Blue Skies Consortium" place
The Gelder Group has been successful in securing its place on the midlands “Blue Skies Consortium” meaning that we can bid for the delivery of schemes tendered by the east midlands housing associations that make up the consortium.
Gelder Groups Housing Manager Robert Porter (pictured) commented that “despite the reduced funding to housing associations generally they still remain a key client to the group. Making it on to the panel will mean that we are in the running for schemes that are being procured and we will be able to further strengthen our professional relationship with the members”.
The Gelder Group has strengthened its housing team and stepped up its land procurement programme greatly during the past 12 months. It will deliver over 50 social units and several private dwellings in 2010 whilst simultaneously increasing its land holding.
