Work starts on New Wedding Reception Facility at Doddington Hall

A sod cutting ceremony has taken place to signal the commencement of our works to provide a Wedding Reception facility and multi functional hall with associated services and resurfacing of the existing car park at Doddington Hall.  A Grade one listed building constructed in 1595 by Architect Robert Smythson and located 5 miles west of Lincoln.

The 20 week £450,000 contract is a challenge in that its location is immediately adjacent to the main visitor’s carpark; very busy farm shop and cafe which are to remain open and works will be ongoing during the seasonal rush of Christmas tree and other Christmas related products that the shop offers.

The project is being project managed by Savills Ltd and James Birch of Doddington Hall comments “we are very excited that the works have now commenced” adding “I am looking forward to the addition of what will be a spectacular venue for wedding receptions”.
