RSS FeedIt's a Hat Trick for the Gelder Group at the Lincolnshire and Rutland Skills Awards 2014
Mike Johnson MBE Training Manager, Rebecca Gillatt Horticulture Apprentice and Danielle Skayman Claims Coordinator Apprentice attended the Lincolnshire and Rutland Skills Awards celebrations held at Butlins Skegness and all walked away with the top winners awards in the skills competition.
Rebecca Gillatt and Danielle Skayman, have completed their NVQ Level 2 in their respective fields with the Gelder Group and both took home Apprentice of the Year honours in their categories. Our Group Training Manager Johnson MBE won the honour of the Apprenticeship Continued Success Award, so all in all it was an extremely successful night for the Gelder Group and its employees.
Speaking about the success of the night Mike Johnson commented: “The Gelder Group were finalist in four categories in this year’s awards, so to walk away with three of them was a brilliant achievement. The event at Butlins was first class, the organisers Lincolnshire and Rutland Skills Board and the Work Based Learning Alliance, are to be congratulated. This is another fantastic result for our apprenticeship programme, so well done to Rebecca and Danielle”.
