The end of April saw the Grand Opening of The Guardroom at Hemswell Antique Centre. The opening was visited by many Ex Servicemen and women of the Squadrons that were based there over 70 years ago and Celebrities from the Antique World. Robert Miller (Owner) thanked the Gelder Group for their sterling efforts in recreating his vision after his first dawn walk with Steve Gelder MBE. Special thanks went to Ian Elsey and Jim West for the excellent dedication they showed throughout the project.
The upper extension to the once disused Guardroom brings renewed vibe and excitement and the addition of a Coffee Shop adds a friendly atmosphere to the historic Antique Centre.
The Opening Presentation was carried out by Bill Collard an ex Serviceman who spoke about fond memories, and was overjoyed with the works that had been carried out by Gelder Major Contracts to complete the new modern feel.
