RSS FeedStaff bring Christmas Joy to Children in Hospital
The staff Christmas party this year not only broke attendance records with over 150 Gelder Group staff all enjoying an evening at Hemswell Court but also raised enough money on the night to be able to purchase a Play Station and a selection of games as well as children’s toys for the Children’s spending Christmas at the Rain Forest Ward at Lincoln County Hospital.
In addition the Maintenance Department within Gelder Group this year decided to forgo the ‘Secret Santa’ ritual and instead put their money together to buy toys and games as well as selection boxes and sweets for children. Delivering the gifts were Emily, Kate, Rachael, Jake, Shaun and Paul from the Maintenance Department as well as Harriet, Elena, Arran and Russell from the accounts team accompanied by their very own Santa Claus. The Ward Manager Carol assisted the teams to deliver the presents to a delighted reception from the children who faces lit up at the sight of Santa!
