Birchwood Shopping Centre
Gelder have successfully completed the 5.8million, Redevelopment of Birchwood Shopping Centre for the Lincolnshire Cooperative. The project began in 2008 with the construction of section 278 works to form new Bus Stops of Birchwood Avenue which allowed the Phase 1 construction of new Customer Car Park, 4 Food Outlets, 2 No New 2 storey business units the remodelling of existing Coop and adjacent Retail Units This included the relocation of several businesses to refurbished units to allow Phase 2 works to begin. Phase 2 commenced in October 2009 with the demolition of 22 existing shops to make way for the construction of 18 No Residential Apartments,12 No larger Retail units, which included a new Police Station. The project was successfully completed in February 2011.
