RSS FeedGelder Groups 2009 Champion Team Enjoy a Day Out at the Races
Throughout 2009 Gelder Group departments competed for the title of “Champion Team” under the banner of “we’re not a team of champions, we are a champion team” at PGL’s Grantham Team Building facility. All teams completed various challenges set around team work, planning, organisation, taking ownership and communication. Additional points were also awarded for bringing two external customers.
The prize for the winning team was an expenses paid trip out and the winning accounts team chose Market Rasen racecourse, where beautiful weather made the day all the more enjoyable.
Group Managing Director, Steve Gelder commented “the power of a team will always triumph over a group of individuals, so team work and the ability of a team to work together is so important, particularly during these tough economic times” adding “I’m extremely pleased that the team enjoyed their hard earned day out”.
