Gelder Group Appointed as a National Apprenticeship Service (ATA)

Gelder Groups training Academy have recently been appointed ‘Apprentice Training Academy’ status by Henry Inman, Employer Services Director for the National Apprenticeship Service.

Mike Johnson the Groups Training Manager commented “The Gelder Group can now assist employers across the region who want to take on an apprentice, but are unable to in the current economic climate.  In particular we can support employers whose order books will not currently allow them to commit to employing an apprentice for the full period of the Apprenticeship, but know that they will need fully trained employees when the economy picks up.  Designed to release the employer from the relentless registration and paperwork faced when seeking an apprentice.  Gelder ATA is a fantastic and cost effective opportunity to connect with apprentices skilled in bricklaying, joinery, maintenance, painting and decorating, plastering and plumbing.  Our program has already been a great success for our first apprentice under the scheme; Reuben Reynolds and we look forward to more successes”.

For more information on ATA and how ATA can help you find your apprentice, please contact; Mike Johnson, Group Training Manager mike@gelder.co.ukor alternatively visit www.gelder.co.uk.  Our mission is to recognize the immense talent that we see in Apprentices and ensure that, in the coming years, more successfully follow this trusted path.
